spect

Spect is a variable typeface created for individuals with visual impairments, the scope focusing on dyslexic people. Utilizing past research and precedent typefaces focusing on dyslexia, I used the variability to adjust the bottom stroke weight, ascenders, and descenders, and differentiate the serifs to distinguish between the two fonts. For the final phase of the project, we were tasked to create a scroll-telly to explain our typeface uses and the synthesis behind it.
